Over the last 3 weeks many of you have taken up our offer of food parcels thanks to the wonderful Salvation Army in South Wigston. It has been great for us as staff to serve our school community in this way, giving us a chance to see you! Please take a moment to read their guidance below on how they ensure the food you receive is safe to eat.

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust have devloped a self-care kit for primary children aimed at looking after their emotional health and wellbeing during this time. The kit covers lots of topics, including staying healthy, handling emotions, letting go of worries, staying connected plus some fun things to do at home. Click on the link below to download the kit.

The SDSA has launched a great new website called OffSchool. It is free for all families and local teachers and authors will be creating short films of fun learning activities for families at home to keep children excited and enthusiastic to learn right throughout the school closure period. Off School also helps parents and carers navigate their way through the maze of activities that are available. There is also a competition zone. Click on the link below to find out more!

By now you should have received your Tesco voucher if your child receives Free School Meals. We hope this helps in some way until the Council are in a position to begin delivering meals straight to your homes.

Teachers are delivering home learning packs this week. This pack contains work based on what topic your child should be learning in school and has some fun activities too! If you need any help or support, please email your child's teacher using the email address for your child's group (see above).
